The Portuguese Criminal Police hosted “Meet Your Security End-Users” Event

On May 17, The Portuguese Criminal Police’s Headquarters in Lisbon hosted the largest national event of the year dedicated to Horizon Europe’s Cluster 3 – Civil Security for Society, which was jointly organized with the Portuguese National Innovation Agency (ANI).

This initiative aimed to bring together the community that works in or contributes to the multiple areas of civil security, by showcasing the skills and expertise of various entities and fostering collaborations in order to promote and increase national participation in what is the largest European program for research and innovation – Horizon Europe. During the event, it the importance was highlighted of projects that promote the creation of Networks of knowledge and practitioners, including the NOTIONES H2020 project.

The session also included the participation of other Portuguese security and defence forces, such as the Public Security Police, the National Republican Guard, the National Maritime Authority, the Portuguese Army and Navy and the National Firefighting Academy.
