Analytical intelligence

Analytical intelligence

When considering the modern security environment, the place and role of intelligence in it, the concept of security is one of the most common and used in the context of rapid and dynamic changes. Accompanying the problems of issues of national and fundamental international relations, conflict zones and areas and their development, questions of survival and future development, security remains widely commented on, despite one of its properties being under the sign of secrecy or restricted access.

The considered analytical field of intelligence also contributes to clarify the elements of security in order to properly understand the role of analytical intelligence in the formation of security and defense policies, being present at the desk of managers, facilitating the making of important management decisions.

The absence of a certain theory regulating intelligence defines it as a science that is not distinguished by independence, as often the problems related to intelligence are presented as difficult to define, and abstract. Therefore, intelligence must be seen as a field of social relations, knowing the actors/players in security that determine its nature and above all each field defining the different aspects and manifestations. Studying these aspects, from intelligence, raises the importance of the analytical intelligence process to a new significant level in an international and national context – the manifestations of confrontation, conflict and cooperation between states and their governments and others.
