11 Nov NOTIONES at RISE-SD 2024: Showcasing Innovations and Fostering Collaboration in European Security and Defense
The Research and Innovation Symposium for European Security and Defense (RISE-SD) 2024 took place on October 16-17 in Chalkidiki, Greece. The event provided a forum for disseminating scientific results, supporting knowledge exchange, and creating networking opportunities for stakeholders in EU-funded security and defense projects. Live demonstrations of technological solutions developed by EU RDI projects were presented. Participants interacted with developers and researchers, learning about innovative solutions. The symposium aimed to boost cooperation among scientific organizations, SMEs, the European security industry, practitioners, policymakers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful market uptake of research outcomes.
During the RISE-SD 2024 symposium, the NOTIONES project was presented by Professor Yantsislav Yanakiev, Dr.Sc., from the Bulgarian Defence Institute “Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov”. His presentation emphasized the project’s commitment to advancing intelligence and security through informed research and development. The NOTIONES booth in the exhibition area garnered significant attention, facilitating extensive knowledge exchange and fostering discussions on potential future collaborations. This engagement underscored the project’s relevance among stakeholders, paving the way for enhanced cooperation and the integration of innovative solutions in the field of security and intelligence.
